Put this at the top of your holiday gift list, or just buy a “little something” for yourself!

Apparently I’m a little behind the times, because this has been the subject of discussion on several blogs, message boards, etc. over the last month or so. I debated on whether to even post about this or not because honestly I have very mixed feelings. But I guess that’s kinda what blogs are for, so I guess I’ll share my very mixed feelings…

Con: Where do I begin? There are so many things wrong with this. Lack of respect for the office of President. Lack of respect for Barack Obama. Lack of self-respect on the part of it’s producers/buyers/supporters? Is our society so far gone that someone thought this was a great idea and actually acted on it, and people are buying it? Now, I love sex toys but there is absolutely NO WAY I could bring myself to use this. In fact I’m not even interested in it from a “gag gift” perspective. However, I’m sure some Republicans could come up with some creative uses….

Pro: Well, this is America and last I checked we embrace freedom of expression. Regardless of how strange, twisted, or vulgar something is, I fully support any expression as long as it doesn’t hurt people against their will and is age appropriate. If you want to make an Obama sex toy, well I guess that’s your constitutional right.

If these two statements sound contradictory, it’s because they are. Yes, I’m a complicated creature. I’m sure a shrink would have fun trying to figure me out….lol.
