“How wrong it is for a woman to expect the man to build the world she wants rather than to create it herself.” - Anais Nin
For a while now, I have had a certain curiosity about the concept of female domination. I can’t say that I know much about the details of what that means exactly, but what I have seen I like. I do know that there is a whole “sub-culture” devoted to this concept/lifestyle. There is a definite knowledge and mind-set that goes along with being a dominatrix - and I think I want in! Now, I respect other human beings and I’m not some “man-hater”, but from what I can tell, that’s not really what it’s about. I think it has more to do with the depth of “letting go”, and with being comfortable with who you are. And the “me” that I think I am, might just include a little “dominatrix” waiting to be unleashed. My everyday personality is very mellow and peace-loving, and I pretty much get along with anyone and everyone. I am not demanding, or aggressive. And infact I have struggled all my life with being just “assertive” and standing up for myself. I dunno, maybe that has something to do with it. All I know is that I think my alter-ego is more than comfortable with being demanding, in charge, and down-right dominating!
So, this is my promise to you: I am going to pursue this interest, and I’ll keep ya posted. I think this is something I might really like, and I’ll share with you my journey pursuing it. I am certainly having fun researching, and would love to hear from anyone who has tips for entering this new world. It will probably be a slow process because I have so much going on in my life right now, but when I do take the next step, I’ll let you know. And in the meantime, I want to share with you a website that I think is an awesome representation of what I’m talking about. I’ll warn you that this site is not for everyone, but if you have any curiosity about this stuff, I recommend it: Madeline Is Wicked . Check it out, if you dare!
Love and spanks!
P.S. I “borrowed” the quote at the beginning of my post from Madeline - thanks, Maitresse!
